The rapid “bounce-back” of the economy, with the easing of pandemic restrictions, has resulted in unusual property market conditions with some sectors evidencing a classic stress created by high demand & limited supply.
Against this background many businesses are continuing to take time to consider & confirm forward strategies, including on property assets & investment plans. Nevertheless, overall, opportunities are available & activity is strong.
Commercial markets remain polarised & sensitive to trends, sector pressures & the influences of location.
Difficulties in the traditional high street, casual dining & leisure sectors are still evident, but strong activity continues in the industrial, logistics, health-care & secondary retail sectors.
